Ogii Review of: Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1)Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Good book. Suspense is killing. Especially when at first you don’t know who the mysterious crazy person is. The way that the scenes before she finds out who that person is and the way that all the bad things happen and then they mysteriously disappear is described really well, especially with Nora’s reactions to what is happening. The scenes where they are on the ‘Devil’s trap’ is very well done and where Nora accidentally touches Patch’s scars. The way in which she is sucked into the memory is great. The twist in the end is very cool and unexpected, you would think someone else. The way in which Nora defeats the enemy in the end is really smart also. The fact that Patch’s character is so mysterious adds so much to the suspense of the story, which is great. That also helps with the irony of the ending and what Patch becomes.
